DAY 1 – ARRIVAL TO SLOVENIA AND KRAS PLATEAU
Arrival at the airport (Venice, Trieste, Ljubljana) and optional transport to the Guesthouse in the Kras Region. Accommodation in a private original old house, which today is a great restaurant and a nice little hotel. Meeting with a guide, some welcome drinks and dinner. Overnight.
DAY 2 – CIRCLE IN THE LAND OF BORA AND PROSCIUTTO – STAGE 1
Breakfast. Today we will do a tour in a circular shape through the undulating terrain of the Kras. You will enjoy many very picturesque views, pleasant villages full of special Kras architecture made of stone carved elements. The roads are calm, winding over many so-called “Kras fields”. Of course, there will be an opportunity to stop for a wine tasting. Afternoon free to relax in the sun. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 – CIRCLE IN THE “LAND OF BORA AND PROSCIUTTO” – STAGE 2
Breakfast. Today we will change direction. At first, we head north with a slow ascend. Stop at the UNESCO protected natural wonder – Škocjan Cave. If you want, we can also take a short walk to see the stunning crater of the collapsed earth and see the river flowing beneath the earth’s surface. Continue to the famous Lipica stud farm, home of the white Lipizzaner horse. Later we will continue across the border to Italy and descent to the Adriatic coast. Some stop to refresh themselves in the coastal area before we start the climb back to Slovenia, back to the Kras plateau and to our inn. Free time to relax. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 – DESCENT TO ADRIATIC COAST AND ROAD OF REFOSCO WINE (BACK TRANSFER BY MINIVAN)
Breakfast. Today’s stage is a one-way drive to the coastline of Slovenia and Croatia. We will cross some roads, enter the town of Kozina and from there continue towards the so-called “Kras Edge”. From there a long descent to coastal Slovenia and the city of Koper continue driving along side roads through the picturesque coastal town of Izola (Island), one of the well preserved coastal medieval towns in Slovenia, with a beautiful harbor, Venetian-style palaces. Our tour continues along a coastal road, to the hills above Koper and later to the Refosco wine road. Stop at a viewpoint and the famous Wine Fountain. Descent into the valley and late afternoon transport back to the Kras and the local hotel.

DAY 5 – VALLEY OF FRUITS AND WINES OF VIPAVA AND CROSSING THE KRAS FROM THE NORTH SIDE
Breakfast. Today’s tour will first lead us to an easy ascent to the point where we will descend into the valley of the river Vipava, which is also called Slovenian California. Usually higher temperatures come from the sea, penetrating deep into the mainland. We drive through very small villages, hidden settlements and the land of Vipava Valley. Later we will climb up again, from the north side back to Kras and cross it through pleasant villages and return to our hotel. Some free time before dinner. Overnight.

DAY 6 – TOUR OF THE GREEN KRAS – “99 KM EAST”
Breakfast. On today’s tour, we will head east. Due to forests and meadows and gentle hills, this region, the so-called green Kras, is known as a kind of remote area, far from the main traffic. This is the land below the gentle slopes of Mount Vremščica, and the roads are very attractive, just very pure nature, greenery and us. Ascending, descending. The last part takes us to Sežana and from there back to our stage destination.

DAY 7 – FAREWELL FROM KRAS REGION
Breakfast and end of the tour.
